  • 1 liter of water.
  • 1 lemon.

  • Preparation:

The first thing to do is to bring to a boil the liter of water with the sprig of malojillo for about 15 minutes, we hope it cools slightly and add a few drops of lemon also if you prefer you can sweeten it with a little honey. If the recipe is super practical and easy, you don't need to be a mega expert to make it (so you have no excuses) I assure you that you will be surprised with all the benefits that you will bring to your health if you start taking this wonderful tea. Me encanta el malojillo, es una hierba que no debe faltar en ninguna casa! Saludos!

si es super delicioso y tiene un aroma increible

I learned the Spanish name here on Hive, but when I first saw lemongrass growing here in Suriname, it was at the house of a Cuban woman that spoke no English. I assumed the name might be "citronella" in Spanish, but she didn't seem to understand what I was talking about until I showed her the plant.

She cut a bit and gave it to us, but I forgot to ask the name in Spanish. The Guyanese call it "fevergrass," a very appropriate name I think.
