🌞 Today's Reflections... 💭

สะท้อนวันนี้...

market bag

English

I did bag veggies myself because I don’t like plastic.I seen all times when I go to the market, all the people take everything in the plastics.

I feeling not good about that , me too sometime take plastic because something has plastic already. I know it’s difficult to change ideas all the people, stop us plastic 💯 but I want to all people reduce the amount of plastic.

I love natural very much and I know everyone love natural also. Please everyone think about plastic 🙏🏻 I am sorry if I written it wrong 🙏🏻

🙏 THANKS FOR READING 🙏

Your Indonesian food looks amazing @sreypov and reminds me very much of my father, who was born and raised in Bandung, Indonesia, in the 1930s and 40s. Do you make your own tempeh? We don't eat soy products by choice but there's an amazing tempeh place in Chiang Mai making it from black beans and chick peas. Looking forward to them reopening soon!

How about the easy recipe and how to post for the balado? 😊

Yeah, I knows to make tempeh. I want to post about recipes food, when My English good better. Thank you 😊

Srey Yuu nearly knows enough markdown to set up a recipe template for @Sreypov. The learning curve is very fast under lockdown.

Lockdown is handy but markdown is over-rated IMHO. it's almost annoying to look at an over-produced bling piece with no substance. What matters on Hive? Originality. Content. 300 words plus is the NM standard. Informative content. Engagement. Personality. Something different. Stuff that contributes to the knowledge bank. Posting very regularly to a consistent audience and engaging with their posts is what matters more than anything. Look at @truthforce's post today. LOL.

The recommended schedule from my mentor when I was learning is for every 1 daily post of yours, read, generously comment and upvote x 12.

I would say 1:12 is a pretty good ratio. You're right, an over-produced piece is no fun, but I rarely see things like this on the blockchain. Mostly what I see are rushed posts with. I might be crazy with the markdown, but I am a content creator who came here from Wordpress, unimpresssed with the customization.

On countless split tests I've arranged on Wordpress websites, readers spend more time on the version of a post that has some engaging formatting. I realize things here on the blockchain don't follow SEO rules and google analytics principles, but it will take this chain to the next level when it happens.

On my Wordpress sites, I spend a lot of time preparing a format that will engage the reader and highlight the desired info. I have to admit, a post with just picture and text perpetually stacked on top of one another makes me lose interest.

I do wish people became more aware of post design and basic CSS markdown, it would bring a lot more readers to this platform. Also, by Srey Yuu learning markdown, she has increased her skillsets to be used beyond the blockchain, potentially on her own website some day.

There are plenty of folks posting on here who came from Facebook and other social media platforms, and it's obvious in their post structure. Even learning just <center>IMG HERE</center> is a game changer for many folks.

We can agree to disagree. Layout etc is fluff and bubble without real content. Bore me stupid.

If you're seeing poor posts you need to change up who you're following. ;)

I think just a big misunderstanding, no need for negative for language. I think some things have been lost in translation. I also do not like hollow posts full of markdown. I just like posts that have good content and also have an engaging markdown system. I don't think one automatically negates the other, and harmony is possible.

If you feel @Sreypov's daily journals are too excessively marked down and/or full of fluff, we change the format to something more of your liking. We are here to please the reader after all.

I just thought it would be convenient to use <div class="pull-left">xxx</div> & <div class="pull-right">xxx</div> to put English on the left and Thai on the right.

I also use this code for recipes, as I think it's convenient to put directions on the left and pics on the right. I hope this doesn't kill her hopes of curation, she really loves the left and right formatting style.

Another misunderstanding, I don't want the people I follow to be confused that I think their posts are a hot mess. I just said "on here", and by that I meant Hive, not my specific following feed.

Sorry we got off on the wrong foot, I am now having to explain to @Sreypov that her posts are not lacking content. She's a bit confused and wonders whether or not you actually like her post or will allow her to post a recipe using a left and right system. She took "Bore me stupid" as a comment to her.

The sentence had no subject, so I'm not sure if I bore you or her posts bore you, or all fluffed posts bore you stupid. Also, she thinks she is "stupid".

She can read enough English to identify negative words, and the sentences can confuser her. I think I will comment in Khmer from now on out to make things easier for Pov to be a participant.

I love your posts!!!

That balado eggplant looks amazing and I would really love the recipe!!!

My sister in law and me love eggplants and eat lots of them, but my husband hates them - more for us! Yay!

The more people set a good example with plastic, the more people will follow. Keep up your wonderful work!

I can tell a stark difference in quality already between Srey Yuu's first journal post and @Sreypov's first journal post. Srey Yuu is improving her grammar and post ideas, while Pov has been impressing me with her phone photography skills. She now wants to know all things about the life of @riverflows. Pov feels the love.

Yeah, I hope so. Thank you a lot 😇🙏🏻

Those flowers are so beautiful...! 😃 Yes, we should all use plastic less. I have a cloth bag for market, but I forget to take it with me most times... 😬

You've all been so supportive, I feel closer to some of you on this blockchain than many folks I know in person. Much love @thekittygirl and the rest of the gang!

Yeah, Before I was the same as you but when I go to the market I asked myself, What I forgot? When you make a habit good better.🙂 Thank you 🙏🏻

I have lots of aleo

Yes,you can try make it.

That food looks delicious! Yum, yum! 😋

In the last 4 years, she's learned how to turn many Thai and Cambodian dishes into Ital versions. Supreme chef!!!

Awesome, you're a very lucky guy! The last girl I dated didn't cook and even hated almost every kind of food. All she would eat was white rice with cow's beef... every single day. She wouldn't even dare to taste anything new. What a bore! 😂

I am lucky too, I have Justin. He very a good man 😂

Thank you 😊🙏🏻
