GREAT post, my dear, and some new uses there that I've never tried! Agree it makes an awesome pesticide. Look forward to trying a few of the new ones out... especially trying it out to disguise fine cracks in glass!!!

Hope you're doing well.

From now I always put a garlic in my toilet bowl at night twice a week. It's truly useful.
Thank you so much @artemislives

Have a good day

One thing to note about cooking with Garlic is that if you leave it sitting cut up for around 15 minutes, it releases the natural enzyme within it called Allicin. Allicin is actually what makes garlic beneficial as you note, so when I cook with it I try and time it so I add it in my dishes around 15 minutes in and hardly cook it at all (20-30 seconds tops). You will notice the difference in flavor as well, it's much more potent. As a self experiment, try cutting up garlic and eating it immediately raw then again after 15 minutes, you'll see taste the difference...

Here is a citation for this: https://www.brainstormhealth.co.uk/2015/07/the-10-minute-garlic-rule/

;) Great post though, just wanted to add some extra insight for Garlic!

Also, broccoli has a similar rule. I only apply this technique with garlic though because it's the best!
